CHARLESTON
KELLYS MEMORIAL
During this project, it was developed in close collaboration with the family, former classmates, and a professor to honor the memory of a student of his who had passed away. Drawing from their stories and vision, we assisted in shaping the spatial layout, selecting materials, and refining design details to create a tribute that was both meaningful and visually compelling. My role included developing plans, renderings, and site drawings that highlighted the memorial’s form, its relationship to the surrounding landscape and make sure the story was conveyed in the way my professor envisioned. The process emphasized design as an act of remembrance and community building, turning architecture into a vessel for memory, healing, and reflection.
